SCHOOL FEES & LEGAL EXEMPTIONS NOTICE
Annual SGB Fee Determination
As an officially designated Section 21 Quintile 5 public ordinary school, Primrose Hill Primary School is self-governing in respect of property maintenance, curriculum resources, and operational expenditure. School fees are determined annually at a formal general meeting of parents and adopted by the School Governing Body (SGB).
The SGB in the AGM has agreed with parents to increase the school fees for 2027 by R120 (15%), which will be R11 500 pa (per annum) and R950 pm (per month).
SASA Legal Fee Exemption Policy
In accordance with the South African Schools Act (Act 84 of 1996) and the National Norms and Standards for School Funding, no qualifying learner will be denied admission on the basis of inability to pay school fees.
Parents and legal guardians who satisfy statutory income criteria may apply for full or partial school fee exemptions through the school bursar's office. Official exemption application forms and confidential guidance are available upon request from the school administration.
Submit this interest request to receive the official SASA fee exemption application pack (Annexure C) and criteria checklist, delivered to your email or prepared for collection at the bursar's office.
